The company was founded in 1954 by Luigi ORSI and started with 4 workers and with an artisan production of pipes and pressure vessels in stainless steel. Year after year the company developed in dimensions and in number of staff. The initial product range extended to fittings (elbows, caps, tees, reducers, rings) and to pressure vessels (reactors, heat exchangers etc); at the same time in order to enter new application sectors, ORSI started to use new materials like nickel alloys resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. In 1976 ing. Angelo ORSI succeded to the father in the company management. In the following years the company expanded remarkably employing in a short time 50 employees and occupying a covered area of 6.000 mq out of a total area of 16.000 mq and became a joint venture. In order to supply a wider range of products and enter new markets involving the application of new materials ORSI started to use titanium and to develop new working techniques and skills. In recent years the company has continued to renew and expand its plant buying new equipments (presses, welding machines, calanders, shearing machines) and this made of ORSI a leading company in the plates working field (shearing, plasma cutting, bending, calendering) and the welding of special alloys resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. Today the company counts 70 employees and occupies a total area of 22.000 sqm.
